I am a professional editor and academic writing consultant. I work with diverse clients from around the world on all kinds of writing projects, at every stage in the process. I specialize in academic writing in the humanities and social sciences. I offer tailored support for academics, including coaching, collaboration, project management, and editing services. I’ve supported and shepherded multiyear writing projects from their beginnings as conference papers, roundtables, and workshops through to publications as special issues, edited collections, monographs, and exhibitions. I also provide grant writing support for SSHRC and CIHR researchers.

My recent clients include Arctic researchers, Indigenous artists and activists, Canadian and US academic presses, a feminist academic journal, gallery curators, a university health network team of researchers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a nonprofit historical society. I have worked with authors whose monographs and edited collections were published with Duke University Press, Routledge, McGill-Queen’s University Press, Oxford University Press, UBC Press, to name a few.
